The examples given in the last article will have shown the reader that the first step toward getting rich is to express your wants to the Formless Substance. This is true, and you will find that in order to do so it is necessary to have harmonious relations with the Formless Intelligence.

Securing this harmonious relation is so important that I shall devote some space here to discussing it. I shall give you instructions which, if followed, are certain to bring you into perfect unity with God.

The whole process of adju sting your mind and achieving unity with God can be summed up in one word:gratitude.
First, you believe there is one Intelligent Substance from which all things follow. Second, you believe that this Substance gives you whatever you desire. And third, you connect to the Substance through feelings of deep gratitude.
